This early access allows PayPal and Venmo customers to experience the highly anticipated AI browser before it becomes publicly available. PayPal's partnership with Perplexity enables PayPal and Venmo users to gain early entry to one of the most awaited AI browsers and subscription services. Diego Scotti, General Manager of PayPal's Consumer Group, expressed excitement about delivering tools and offers that meet customer needs, simplifying financial management, increasing convenience, and providing more rewards.

Ryan Foutty, VP of Business at Perplexity, mentioned that the Comet browser acts as a personal shopper and assistant combined, offering accurate AI tools beneficial in daily activities.

The Perplexity Pro subscription is now accessible through PayPal's new subscriptions hub — a centralized platform for managing recurring payments. This feature responds to customer requests for easier subscription management, now available directly within the PayPal app. Customers can also discover exclusive deals and bundled offers, increasing value and convenience.

The subscription hub simplifies discovering, tracking, and updating payment methods for multiple subscriptions with just a few taps, eliminating the need to log into various websites. Additionally, US customers who link and pay for three subscriptions via the hub will receive $50 cashback for a limited time.

US PayPal users can subscribe to Perplexity Pro directly through the PayPal app today. Customers in select global markets can activate the offer via email or a dedicated landing page. Venmo users can access this offer through the Venmo app. The PayPal subscription hub is available now in the US and will expand internationally later this month.
