Sonic Labs Airdrop: 200M Free S Tokens Available

Sonic Labs is set to hold a significant airdrop in June 2025, originally announced on January 15th. This event will distribute approximately 200 million S tokens through the Sonic Points system. Participants will receive 25% of their earned tokens immediately, while the remaining 75% will be gradually released over 270 days via an NFT-based mechanism. Users can track their progress through a new Sonic Points dashboard, which displays three types of points that can be earned through different methods:

- Passive Points: Accumulated by holding approved assets in Web 3 wallets like Rabby, MetaMask, and hardware wallets. Assets held in centralized exchanges do not qualify.

- Active Points: Earned by providing liquidity in participating projects.

- Program Points: Exclusive to developers competing for allocations known as Sonic Gems, which are used for distributing S tokens through a dedicated scoring system.

The token release schedule is as follows: 25% will be released in June 2025, and the remaining 75% will be unlocked over 270 days. There is potential for accelerated release by burning part of the allocation.

To participate in the Sonic Labs airdrop, users need to set up a compatible wallet like MetaMask and have a small amount of ETH for gas fees. They must connect to the Sonic Points dashboard, enter their referral code, and complete a digital signature to activate their points and referral link. They can choose from two available farming strategies and explore additional farming options. Trading on Vertex will also earn Sonic points and Gems.
